KIPP Salary and Benefits

KIPP schools offer teachers full health benefits and a competitive salary, including extra pay for the extended time commitment. Beginning base salary starts at the Denver Public Schools starting salary (currently $33,786) and scales up depending on education and experience, with a salary scale that is among the highest in the greater Denver area. There are stipends for extended teaching hours during the day, week, and year, and teachers may also receive a stipend depending on duties assigned. Teachers can receive up to $10,000 in additional pay. You are also eligible to participate in the school’s benefit plans, including health, dental, and the Denver Public Schools Retirement System (DPSRS) benefits.
